Project Description

Puppy classes

Group puppy classes are the ideal place to give your puppy the foundation skills it needs to become a well behaved dog.

As well as learning, the group sessions provide a safe and supervised environment for your puppy to socialise with other puppies and humans.

We take things slow and positively when learning how to train a puppy so as not to overwhelm them and the new owners.

We also have fun and work to build a resilient bond between you and your new addition.

Puppy classes are not currently running during the summer period – please register your interest to be notified when they are.

What can you expect?

In a puppy training session, as well as dedicated time for socialising you can expect to work on:

  • The importance of eye contact
  • How to train basic commands – sit, down, stay
  • Simple manners around other dogs or people
  • Puppy lead walking
  • Foundations of a reliable receall
  • How to prevent your puppy jumping up
  • Enrichment games to play with your puppy
  • How to deal with unwanted behaviours

When are they?

Monday 2nd September at 6 – 7 30pm at Saltash Social Club.

Monday 14th October at 6 – 7 30pm at Saltash Social Club.

Courses last for six weeks and are £60, payable in advance.
